chai tea recipe from Fawn Lily Botanica

Favorite Spiced Chai Tea Recipe

I love making this chai tea during the winter season, it warms the body and mind, and it just makes you feel good all over! The recipe is endlessly adaptable, so feel free to add whichever spices or botanicals you wish. For example, I've been adding ashwagandha root and milky oats lately, I love the extra nourishment that they provide and their ability to help our bodies deal with stress. Sometimes, I'll add allspice, star anise, or turmeric root depending on my mood and what I have on hand.  Use rooibos or another non caffeinated tea if you plan to enjoy this tea at night or share it with young kids, and and black tea if you're looking for a little caffeine during the day.

I hope that you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!  If you'd like to share or save this recipe, or view it in a larger format, I've provided a free downloadable link below.
