Mustard baths are a classic therapeutic bath treatment for use during the cold winter months. Especially helpful during the autumn and winter months to help warm the body, assist with aches, circulation, relax, and promote restful sleep. Also used to stimulate sweat glands to encourage perspiration, open pores, and help the body detoxify. Some historical accounts cite the usage of mustard baths amongst ancient Greeks, Romans, and those practicing Ayurveda in India. Our ancestors knew how good a spice-filled bath can make the body feel!
