Incredibly soft and beautiful facial luffa / loofah sponges grown sustainably in the USA! Most luffas are grown overseas where they are treated with pesticides and chemicals, then transported across the ocean. We wanted to bring you something better and closer to home, so we've partnered with a family farm in California to bring you these gorgeous organically-grown luffas!

Not only are they gentle enough for facial care use, but they can also be used for bathing. They are especially perfect for naturally washing baby and children's delicate skin, and for those with sensitive skin.

These luffa sponges are very soft, luxurious, and of superior quality. They are very durable (more durable than sea sponges) and will last for a long time.

The natural fibers in these loofah discs are perfect for exfoliating away dead and dull skin cells, to reveal fresh, glowing, radiant, and healthy skin underneath. Luffas are a type of gourd, which means that these are plant-based, environmentally-friendly, sustainable, vegan, earth-friendly, biodegradable, and can be composted (or reused as a cleaning sponge) at the end of their lifecycle.

These luffas are sustainably and organically grown, without the use of pesticides or chemicals. Always air dry your luffa between uses, and disinfect regularly (see directions below). It is recommended that you replace your loofah every 2-3 months with a fresh, new one. The spent, older loofah can be composted or reused for cleaning purposes (the abrasive side works perfectly for this!).

These luffas have been cut into round disc shapes. They are 3.5 inches in diameter. Important: Please note that one side of the luffa is soft and the other is abrasive. For skincare, please make sure to use the soft side.

To use: thoroughly saturate with warm water until the luffa is soft and has expanded, then lightly exfoliate (don't scrub too hard) in gentle circular motions. Once finished, rinse the loofah with clean water, then squeeze any excess water out. Never twist or wring the luffa as this can damage it's natural fibers. Allow to air dry completely between uses.

Luffas can be cleaned and disinfected regularly to prevent mold or bacteria growth. To clean your luffa, place it in the dishwasher, washing machine, or pour boiling water over it. Do not put it in a clothes dryer! Always allow luffas to air dry between uses.

At the end of its lifecycle, you can use this sponge for cleaning purposes! The abrasive side will work perfectly for cleaning needs.
