This is the exact same formula as our Bakuchiol Botanical Facial Serum, but transformed into a solid balm with the addition of Kokum Butter and pure Beeswax.

This formula is designed to nourish, repair, restore, and rejuvenate while leaving skin feeling dewy, fresh, smooth, moisturized, and protected. It is especially beneficial for dry, mature, and damaged skin, and wonderful for layering and protecting skin during cold or dry weather. Contains ingredients clinically proven to reduce wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen production.

Featuring 1% Sytenol® A Bakuchiol from Sytheon (just like our serum). This is the ONLY clinically proven bakuchiol on the planet. It is the bakuchiol used in all major clinical trials that demonstrated bakuchiol’s anti-aging efficacy - meaning that it’s the only source with actual data and science behind it.

Bakuchiol is a gentler, botanical alternative to retinol. Published studies have shown it to be just as effective as retinol at treating wrinkles, evening skin tone, and improving skin elasticity and firmness. Plus, it is known to stimulate collagen production, speed up skin cell regeneration, assist with various skin conditions, and helps skin become refreshed, brighter, and more radiant. In addition, Bakuchiol is completely natural, derived from plants, and doesn't cause any of the side effects that retinol can cause.

Apricot Kernel Oil, Certified Organic: A deeply nourishing, emollient, soothing, and revitalizing oil which naturally contains vitamins E and B.

Brazil Nut Oil, Certified Organic: This rich oil contains antioxidants, vitamins A and C, helps with skin elasticity, naturally protects against UV rays, helps repair sun and environmental damage, and deeply moisturizes. It's such a luxurious ingredient for all skin types, especially dry, damaged, or skin in need of protection and repair.

Macadamia Nut Oil, Certified Organic: Such a luscious ingredient! Macadamia nut oil is utilized to hydrate, nourish, soften, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and retain skin suppleness. It contains high concentrations of essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and squalene which regenerates skin cells and protects the skin. Due to the range of fatty acids, macadamia oil supports cellular membranes, helps retain moisture, and regenerates skin layers. Especially beneficial for dry and mature skin types.

Beeswax: Protects, repairs, softens and calms skin, and locks in moisture without clogging pores. Ideal for dry, chapped, and damaged skin. Beeswax is a natural humectant and draws moisture to the skin, then creates a water-resistant and long-lasting protective barrier to seal moisture in without blocking pores. This barrier helps protect skin from wind, dry air, low humidity, and environmental stressors.

Plum Kernel Oil, Certified Organic: An excellent oil naturally high in vitamins E, C, and A, and containing very-long-chain fatty acids, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties. Known to hydrate, brighten, repair, and plump skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and assisting with various skin irritations and conditions. A lightweight, noncomedogenic oil safe for all skin types including oily and acne-prone skin.

Avocado Oil, Certified Organic: Nourishing, protective, known to help regenerate skin cells, repair skin tissues, and assist with signs of aging. Very beneficial for sensitive and damaged skin.

Hemp Seed Oil, Certified Organic: Referred to as "nature's most perfectly balanced oil" due to its wide range of fatty acids, hemp seed oil is known to assist with a variety of difficult skin conditions, is soothing, moisturizing, healing, and protects against cellular damage.

Bakuchi Oil: a cold-pressed oil made from the seeds of the Babchi plant (Psoralea corylifolia), an Ayurvedic botanical with a long history of use in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to help calm and soothe the skin. This Bakuchi oil naturally contains between 3-5% Bakuchiol, making it the purest form of Bakuchiol out there! Plus, the oil contains other benefits that the Babchi plant has to offer (which likely wouldn't be present in a standardized extract).

Argan Oil, Certified Organic: Referred to as "liquid gold", this is one of the very best ingredients to use in skin care! This remarkable oil protects, nourishes, hydrates, moisturizes, boosts skin elasticity, and revitalizes skin. It naturally high in vitamin E, squalene, carotenes, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. Considered an anti-aging ingredient which helps protect the skin from damage.

Tamanu Oil, Certified Organic: Referred to as "green gold", this is a very rich and thick therapeutic oil with protective, smoothing, and moisturizing qualities. It absorbs deeply into all three layers of the skin where it regenerates skin cells and repairs. Often used to assist with various skin conditions, and very beneficial for dry, mature and aging skin.

Rosehip Seed Oil, Certified Organic: One of the very best ingredients for skin care! Well known and loved as a regenerative and nourishing oil which promotes collagen formation, skin cell regeneration, improves skin elasticity, and contains vitamins A, C, and E. Studies have shown great success treating wrinkles, scars, dark spots, UV damage, and difficult skin conditions with this oil.

Kokum Butter: A plant-based butter, pressed from Garcinia seeds which are native to India. It is non-comedogenic, meaning that it won't clog pores and can be used by all skin types. Kokum butter is deeply conditioning, nutrient rich, emollient, softens skin, protective, moisturizing, and assists with skin elasticity, dry skin, and cracked or weather-compromised skin. Yet, it absorbs quickly and is not greasy or oily feeling.

Passion Fruit Seed Oil (unrefined, virgin): An exotic oil which soothes, relaxes, and calms the skin, helps with collagen formation, benefits aging and dry skin as well as those with various skin conditions, and is very high in vitamin C.

Evening Primrose Seed Oil, Certified Organic: A really rich and luxurious oil, often reserved for nighttime and under eye serums, utilized for a myriad of skin conditions, and contains gamma-linolenic acid and antioxidants which may help reduce and smooth wrinkles.

Pomegranate Seed Oil, Certified Organic: One of the thickest, richest, and most luxurious oils, this oil is highly nutritious for the skin, balances, conditions, helps regenerate skin cells, increases elasticity of the skin, repairs damage, deeply penetrates, protects, and rebuilds collagen.

Sea Buckthorn Oil (cold pressed and unrefined): This is a very powerful and nourishing oil used to treat and heal a wide variety of skin conditions and irritations, regenerate skin cells, improve skin tone, and decrease fine lines and wrinkles. Rich in vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, phytosterols, and nutrients including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins E, C, B1, B2, and K. A very concentrated and reparative treatment.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil, Certified Organic: One of the very richest and most luxurious oils in the world! This oil is extremely nourishing, conditioning, restorative, and moisturizing. It softens, repairs, restores, protects, and improves skin tone and elasticity. Naturally high in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamins E and K.

Vitamin E Oil, non-GMO: This powerful antioxidant helps smooth, condition, moisturize, and protect the skin. Beneficial for all skin types and for various skin conditions and irritations.

Please note that we're not trying to dissuade anyone from using retinol ~ it has been shown to have amazing results and there are many clinical studies proving it's effectiveness. But, for those who prefer a gentler plant-based ingredient, or whose skin is too irritated by retinol, Bakuchiol is a wonderful alternative!
