SISAL BOTANICAL BODY BRUSH {Plastic-Free}

This exfoliating and invigorating body brush is made with natural, sustainable sisal fibers. A favorite for whole-body exfoliation and dry brushing, this Japanese-style brush gently sweeps away dead, dull skin cells to refresh and smooth the skin, leaving it soft and looking fresh, bright, and rejuvenated. It also helps your skin better absorb the body oil or moisturizer you apply afterward.

For best results, use this brush dry, for dry brushing. We recommend keeping it dry rather than using it wet, which helps it hold its shape and last longer. On dry skin, make long strokes with gentle pressure (avoiding sensitive areas and your face), then shower afterward to rinse away the loosened skin and debris. For exfoliating in the shower, we recommend our natural sea sponges, Ayate washcloths, and luffas.

This brush is durable, made from natural sisal fibers wrapped around a wire core. The handle also has a wire core, is wrapped with natural cordage, and has a wooden tip. Plastic-free, vegan, and made entirely from natural, sustainable materials.

After use, tap out and comb through the bristles to remove loosened skin, and keep the brush dry between uses (it has a wire core, so avoid soaking it). If it needs freshening now and then, lightly clean the bristle tips and let it dry completely. Since natural fibers are used, this brush sheds a little more than synthetic ones. For best results, replace it around every 90 days; with good care it may last up to 9 months, so replace it sooner if the bristles lose their firmness or begin to thin.
